I wrote a fb comment for Jane Davitt's recent little fic Emptiness, and we touched in passing as to why Blair might have left, instead of staying as in her lovely AU snippet. I set out to express my ideas and realised it was going to be just a little long for a comment. So it's here instead.

That’s kind of dry and unexciting as a title, but it helps to have a defined topic. That way the thinker/essayist/obsessive personality stays on track.

When I posted Sideline as a WIP, I remarked a few times that the plot had crack tendencies, and Bev was kind enough to comment that she didn’t see crack at all. And this led to me having thoughts about my perception of the ‘desirable’ TS plot and why I felt that way.
